Can the Women Survive?
Last week we saw Liz take on the swamps with her female co-pilot Christy... Even though they looked like they would struggle with their 1,000 pound beast caught on Liz's late fathers line, it sure didn't stop them from ultimately succeeding and dragging in a powerful catch any man or woman would be proud of. Although it was a close call the length of the beast beat out the swamp king Troy Landry's catch of a 13 footer... They may be ladies, but definitely not the weaker sex. Best of luck to you Liz as you hunts continue!

there's noway liz and that girl, can lift those big gators by themselves!!! if anyone who watches the show in detail, like i do, would notice, that they always show liz and her, get the head up over the boat, and then cuts to them pulling in the tail...come on guys, we all know they had help...please dont make this a unbelievable show!!

ReplyDeleteI worked in the show and am a avid alligator hunter for most of my life all tv is fake my man! As the seasons go on they are making this show more and more scripted! But only people like us are gonna notice people who actually hunt alligators! These people are all experienced alligator hunters, but what tv wants tv gets and they are turning them into actors!

ReplyDeleteLiz and her friend Kristi are as good as any other team. Liz is a better hunter than any one else except maybe Troy. I was disappointed to see Liz make mistakes like forgetting the tarp to cover the gators in the heat and like running out of gas. But Troy had made many a fair share of questionable decisions and crazy risks only to be lucky enough to survive.
ReplyDeleteThe hunter that is the worst of the so-called veterans is RJ. He is total ego and luck. Without Jay Paul RJ is a joke.
RJ wants to call himself the King of the Swamp because he is catching the most gators but he is catching mostly little bitty gators just for the competition of it. The King of the Swamp was determined no just by the numbers of the gators but by who got the biggest gators of the year. With that in mind there will be no KIng this year - it will be Queen Liz. She got the biggest one so far.
Austyns's cousin Blake is also too arrogant for words. He's going to end up getting Austyn seriously injured or worse. Austyn seems to have a natural instinct and sense for gatoring except when he puts his hand in the water and wraps the cord around his hand/fingers...he'sd going to get pulled into the water that way.
Bruce and Ron make a good team.
Willy and Randy are as good team.
Tommy grew up into a good partner for Joe.
The Geist brothers should at least get some new t-shirts from the tv crew that films them. They're both wearing the same torn and tattered clothes every week. I think too much time is spent on them for my interest.
I love to see them weigh and measure the gators.
This is my favorite show and it is the highlight of my week!
